Kieron Dyer was use to of injuries but the most brutal and serious one occurred in the second round of the Carling Cup in a match between Bristol Rovers and WestHam on August 18, 2007 about eight and a half years ago while playing he tackled with Joe Jacobson that resulted in broken down of his right leg in two places due to which he missed the entire 2007–08 season. This nasty colliding and its cracking effects made it 10th worst injury in the list of Top 10 worst football injuries .He came back to action 5 months later after getting recovered and resumed his professional football career until April 2013 when he retired.
